It’s here! Our new landfill-biodegradable shrink wrap, EnviroShrink™, is now available for purchase!
Built for everything from marine storage to industrial applications, EnviroShrink performs just like our conventional film. The difference comes after the job is done and the film is ready for disposal. Simply throw it in the trash!
A proprietary additive is blended into the film. Once the used shrink wrap is discarded and exposed to anaerobic landfill environments, the additive is designed to enhance biodegradation by naturally occurring microorganisms.

“Dr. Shrink Biodegradable” is printed on each roll to ensure it is authentic Dr. Shrink material. EnviroShrink (equivalent material) was independently tested by an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory, using ASTM D5511 to evaluate its anaerobic biodegradation under controlled laboratory conditions. Testing results showed 46% biodegradation in 60 days.
